Our groups provide a supportive and safe environment where you can openly share your concerns and questions. Caregivers can learn more about the illness as well as effective strategies from other caregivers and group facilitators who are dementia experts. Many also will discover valuable connections and community resources.

Neighbors Who Care 

Bonnie Kosar, Case Manager, facilitates a weekly Caregiver Support Group and is a certified Master Trainer for the Powerful Tools for Caregiver Program. She received her Social Work degree from the University of Regina in Canada. Risen Savior Lutheran Church. This caregiver support group meets every Monday from 1 – 3 at the Risen Savior Lutheran - 23914 S Alma School Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.

Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association

The chapter is a charitable organization incorporated in the State of Arizona and governed by a local board of directors. While we are an affiliate of the National Alzheimer's Association based in Chicago, all our work is devoted to providing service and support to Alzheimer's patients, family members and caregivers throughout Arizona and Southern Nevada. 

The caregiver and care receiver support group is every 2nd and 4th Thursday, 9:00 – 11:00 at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 E Riggs Rd, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.
